Lee Ohanian

Lee E. Ohanian is a Professor of Economics at UCLA. His areas of expertise include macroeconomics, monetary policy, and the causes of economic depressions. His research findings have been published in a number of academic journals, as well as in mainstream outlets such as the New York Times and the Washington Post. He is a frequent columnist for the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Newsweek. He has served as an advisor to the United States Senate and the California state legislature on current economic crises at the state and national levels, and he has advised federal reserve banks, foreign central banks, and the National Science Foundation.
