A former national high school debate champion, James founded Incubate Debate, a non-profit that teaches young Americans the power and practice of debate. Incubate is the fastest-growing debate league in America, serving as the alternative to the ideological echo chamber that “traditional” high school debate has become, which James detailed in a widely-acclaimed essay in The Free Press.
