David Clarke

David Clarke is a former Sheriff, public speaker, and best selling author. After an illustrious career in the Milwaukee Police department – rising from patrol officer in 1978 to captain in 1999 – he was appointed Sheriff of Milwaukee County in 2002 and later reelected to four more terms, resigning in 2017. In his best-selling book “Cop Under Fire” Sheriff Clarke shares experiences of his childhood and how they shaped his future, as well as articulating his unwavering defense of our nation’s police officers.
